## Where the pictures come from

The library includes artwork traced from scanned historical books, original vector designs and licensed patterns. Historical entries retain recorded source information. Check each file's source and licence terms; a book's age alone does not establish worldwide public-domain status.

The book-tracing workflow crops scanned pages and uses segmentation and tracing software to convert shapes into vector paths. Cleanup tools can refine those paths. Source quality and tracing results affect how well an image reproduces as a vector.

35 collections are generated from code, including repeating panels and micrographic marks built from lettering. Separately licensed patterns retain their source credits and required notices.

The catalogue counts each filename once, even when it appears in several collections. The source registry also includes books whose artwork is not currently published. Publication and source credits do not, by themselves, establish worldwide rights clearance.

## What it costs

Browsing is open to everyone, with no account needed to look.

- **Free account:** generated collections and published fonts. New accounts start with 100 sparks, shared between map exports at 10 each and paid artwork unlocks at 2 each.
- **Supporter:** unlimited access to the published Art Library while membership access is active. Maps still use sparks.
- **Pro:** Supporter's library access plus unlimited Map Designer exports while membership access is active.
- **Repeat downloads:** an artwork unlocked with sparks costs nothing to download again while published. A file accessed only through membership may cost sparks after membership access ends.

Personal use, commercial physical products and digital resale or redistribution are permitted on every account tier under each file's applicable licence. MyLaserTools grants only rights it controls. Public-domain originals retain their independent rights; preserve the copyright and licence notices required by MIT and other source licences. Sparks pay for file preparation, hosting and access, not exclusive ownership of historical originals. Browsing is open to everyone. Generated collections download with a free account; a paid artwork unlock costs 2 sparks, or the published library is included while Supporter or Pro access is active. Artwork unlocked with sparks can be downloaded again without another charge while it remains published. Membership-only downloads do not become permanent spark unlocks.
